Our most-requested effects have officially landed in Lightroom.
The Luxe Overlay Effects Bundle brings the creative magic of traditional overlays directly into your Lightroom presets panel. Add natural-looking atmosphere, distressed film texture, glowing bokeh, and directional light without relying on additional plug-ins or building complicated effects from scratch.
Featuring 51 effects across three distinctive collections—Atmosphere, Film, and Light—this bundle makes it easy to add a subtle finishing touch or completely transform the mood of your image.
Create atmosphere in a tap
Introduce rolling fog, falling rain, softly drifting snow, or a sky filled with stars. With horizontal and vertical options created for different image orientations, the Atmosphere collection helps you enhance outdoor portraits, seasonal sessions, fantasy concepts, and storybook scenes without leaving Lightroom.
Give digital images a tactile film finish
Add borders, folds, scratches, and artistic splatters for a nostalgic, distressed, or editorial effect. Use these Film presets to create anything from subtle analog character to a bold mixed-media finish.
Shape the scene with light
Layer glowing bokeh or directional light rays over your image to build depth, guide focus, and introduce an ethereal finish. The Light collection is ideal for romantic portraits, styled sessions, holiday minis, and images that need an extra touch of visual magic.
Stackable, moveable, and fully adjustable
Apply each effect directly from your presets panel, reposition the generated element to better suit your composition, adjust its appearance, or stack multiple effects to create a more dynamic result. Compatible adjustments can also be synchronized across similar images for a faster, more consistent workflow.
A 25-page PDF Install & Use Guide is included to walk you through installation, application, positioning, customization, and creative workflows.
Before you begin
This collection is not stand-alone software and requires compatible, up-to-date Adobe subscription software. Because these effects use complex brush strokes to produce detailed, realistic elements, they require more processing than standard color presets. For the best experience, make sure your operating system, graphics drivers, and Adobe software are fully updated and optimized for your computer before importing and applying the presets.
On mobile, Effects presets require the Premium paid Lightroom app and a compatible newer Android or iOS device.
